The present is where you can live effectively and happily
Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working with individuals and couples.
Ortensia Terzi
My name is Ortensia (she/her). I am a BACP-registered psychotherapeutic counsellor and trainee psychotherapist, currently completing my Master’s degree in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute in London.
I support people who may be struggling with relationships, difficult emotions, or finding their way through life’s challenges.
I understand that reaching out for support is not always easy. I offer a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and feel heard. Therapy can provide an opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to share with friends or family.
There is no single reason to begin therapy. You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed or stuck. You may be experiencing relationship difficulties, going through a significant change, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply. Whatever brings you to therapy, you are welcome.
My approach is warm, collaborative and respectful. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to support you in finding your own voice and your own way forward. Together, we can explore what matters to you, develop an understanding of the patterns affecting your life and relationships, and help you make informed choices that feel right for you.

Therapeutic approach
I approach my work relationally, meaning I prioritise building a relationship based on mutual trust, where you feel secure to explore anything you want. I aim to help you achieve your fullest potential in life, whatever that might look like. Working relationally means our relationship is an important part of our work.
Looking at how we relate to each other can give us clues as to how you might relate to people in general. This method allows us to identify blocks or areas for change, and help you achieve better communication and understanding in your relationship with yourself and others.
I am interested in how we experience our emotions within our bodies. How our bodies hold all our life experiences. I have also completed a 12 week mindfulness course. Healing the whole person, mind, body and soul is important to me.
